Riverside Doctors Hospital – Williamsburg, Virginia

The groundbreaking for Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg took place on 12 July 2011. When completed, Doctors’ Hospital will be the crowning achievement in Riverside’s commitment to serving Williamsburg and surrounding areas. Riverside Doctors’ Hospital will be a 2-story, approximately 100,000 square foot facility. The facility will sit on a beautifully landscaped campus at the intersection of Route 199 and Route 60. The campus is over 25 acres and is a component of the 380+ acre multi-use development named Quarterpath.

Riverside Regional Medical Center Surgery Expansion – Newport News, Virginia

Riverside Health System is expanding Riverside Regional Medical Center located in Newport News, Virginia. The project consists of a 250,000 square foot, 3-story building addition including services for surgery, PACU, pre-post-op procedural, central sterile, pharmacy, second floor med/surg and ICU/step-down beds, main entrance lobby and support services. The project also includes new elevator and stair core connecting the existing tower to the surgery expansion. The building is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in October 2012.

Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital -  Nassawadox, Virginia 

The Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Health has approved the relocation of Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital (RSMH) to a site immediately behind Four Corners Plaza in Accomack County.

Work to initiate development of the proposed Accomack site has been ongoing for much 2011, with a preliminary expectation for construction to begin in the fall of 2012. The current hospital campus in Nassawadox will focus on multiple types of ambulatory, or outpatient services. It will be transformed into an urgent care and outpatient diagnostic complex for patients who need to receive treatment of urgent symptoms, need to see their physician or need to receive laboratory, imaging or other diagnostic services.

Baptist Health South Florida is the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in the region.  Baptist Hospital of Miami is located just 20 minutes from Miami International Airport. In 1998, Baptist was recognized as a Magnet hospital for Nursing Excellence by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, an affiliate of the American Nursing Association. Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA’s TriStar Health System (TSHS), is a 657-bed facility accredited by The Joint Commission.The medical center’s 50 acre campus is home to four (4) hospitals including the primary facility, The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Centennial, The Women’s Hospital at Centennial, Centennial Heart Center as well as office buildings, various support buildings and major parking operations.

The Owner intends to design and renovate the existing structure with additional new construction as a municipal auditorium complex, consisting of a renovated Performance Hall to be one thousand eight hundred (1,800) seat multi-purpose auditorium, an expanded exhibit space for a 38,715 gross square foot exhibit hall and new city offices within a 80,880 gross square foot municipal office building, to be located on the site of the existing Gaillard Municipal Auditorium and Exhibit Hall on approximately four (4) acres of land at the north side of George Street between Arson and Alexander Streets in Charleston, South Carolina, totaling approximately 246,400 gross square feet of building area.

The Duke Energy Center is a 48-floor (54 floors including mechanical floors) skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina. When completed in 2010, it was the largest building in Charlotte. The building and adjacent cultural arts campus are owned by Wells Fargo.

Originally, the building was to be known as the Wachovia Corporate Center. It was to replace One Wachovia Center as the headquarters of Wachovia. Wachovia was to occupy 450,000 square feet of the 1,500,000  square feet tower. Wells Fargo plans to use five of its 14 floors.

The technology can be non-interactive and interactive through the use of touch screen, barcode scanner, card swipe, RFID and other input devices.

Our studio provides the consultation services to implement these robust programs to supplement the traditional wayfinding parts such as signs, scripting, clutter reduction etc. The latest technology also includes fully down-loadable APPs on hand held devises and is co-developed with web site navigation systems.
